Deborah first established her couture atelier in 1991, building up an impressive list of private clients and collaborating with many of the leading names in fashion, including Isabella Blow, Philip Treacy and Nick Knight.
In 2005 Deborah collaborated with Aveda to create her first Ecoture™ collection, inspired by the idea that fashion labels can benefit without sacrificing or exploiting the environment. This collection was the result of Deborah’s visit to Aveda’s partners, the Yawanawa tribe, in Acre, Brazil, who, having gained title to their ancestral lands, work tirelessly to protect their environment. This led to a collection of dresses which each presented a unique, sustainable story.
In 2016, following 8 years working with Alexander McQueen as a consultant on couture, Deborah re- established her own couture label working from her studio based in Central London.
Regenerating the Reef marks the launch of her first solo collection. The collection, highlights the sustainable ethos behind her brand, choosing natural dyes and sustainable products wherever possible, working with highly skilled experts and ecologically minded manufacturers to bring her vision to life.

Deborah remains, as American Elle once described her, “London’s best kept secret for extraordinarily beautiful designs and unconventional sculptural shapes.”
